Welcome to OpenReels

These terms govern your use of OpenReels (“we”, “us”, “our”) and the services available at openreels.io. By creating an account or using any part of the service, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use OpenReels.

What OpenReels Does

OpenReels is a software platform that helps you create, schedule, and publish short-form video content to TikTok using AI. We provide the tools — you provide the ideas and creative direction. All content generation, scheduling, and publishing is handled automatically by our software.

Your Account

You need an account to use OpenReels. You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, let us know right away.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By signing up, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate.

Subscriptions & Payments

OpenReels offers paid subscription plans billed monthly. Payments are processed by our payment partner, Paddle, who acts as the Merchant of Record. When you subscribe, you’re entering into a billing relationship with Paddle. All prices are in USD and shown before you pay.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You can cancel anytime from your account settings — you’ll keep access until the end of your current billing period.

Your Content

You own the content you create with OpenReels. We don’t claim any ownership over your videos, scripts, or creative work. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of delivering the service to you (generating videos, scheduling posts, etc.).

You’re responsible for making sure your content doesn’t violate any laws, infringe on anyone’s rights, or go against TikTok’s community guidelines.

Acceptable Use

Use OpenReels for its intended purpose. Don’t use it to generate spam, misleading content, or anything harmful or illegal. Don’t try to reverse-engineer, abuse, or interfere with our systems. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Third-Party Services

OpenReels connects to TikTok through their official API. Your use of TikTok is governed by TikTok’s own terms of service. We also use third-party providers for authentication, payments, and AI video generation. We’re not responsible for the availability or policies of these third-party services.

Availability & Changes

We do our best to keep OpenReels running smoothly, but we can’t guarantee 100% uptime. We may update features, pricing, or these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we’ll notify you by email or through the app.

Limitation of Liability

OpenReels is provided “as is.” We’re not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you won’t exceed the amount you’ve paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may also terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends and we may delete your data after a reasonable period.
